- Weekly container service sailing every Wednesday
- Linking North West England with Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Djibouti, Tanzania and Kenya
As liner agents for the Dutch WEC line, JSA Global are pleased to announce that the service from Liverpool has now been extended. This new Deep Sea service offers customers the opportunity to ship direct from the heart of the UK to destinations in East Africa.
“WEC lines recently started calling at the port of Liverpool in January and here at JSA Global we have already seen how beneficial this has been. This new service to the Red Sea only strengthens our position. Although this service is only open for cargo ex UK that is permitted to be transhipped in King Abdullah Port, and therefore must not include alcohol, pork, religious materials etc., it is a great opportunity to link exporters in the North West of England.” Mark Pattison, Operations Director
The line will offer a weekly container service (leaving Wednesday) from Liverpool to:
Port Sudan, Sudan
Djibouti, Djibouti (plus inland destinations served via DJI)
Dar es Salam, Tanzania (plus inland destinations served via DAR)
Mombassa, Kenya (plus inland destination served via MBA)
Difficult to reach hinterland destinations, Uganda, Burundi, Malawi ,DRC, Southern Sudan and Botswana, can also be reached by using this service.
This service is an addition to the already successful service linking Liverpool with Portugal, Morocco, Spain and Canary Islands.
